Accessibility Services
Accessible parking is available in all parking facilities owned and operated by the Grand Forks Regional Airport Authority. Accessible spaces are located nearest the walkways in pay parking Lots A, B & C.
You can access the public area elevator in between the up and down escalators. The passenger hold room has an elevator located near Gate 2 accessible with airline or airport personnel escort.
If you anticipate receiving a page or if you wish to leave a standard audible page, you can receive assistance by visiting the administration offices on the second floor of the terminal, or if after normal business hours, the custodial staff will assist you. If your name is paged we will notify you while you are at GFK, or if you wish to page someone, we are happy to do that too.
Visual pages are displayed (in bright red) on all of the display monitors in the terminal.
All public restrooms can accommodate people with disabilities. If you need assistance, you and the person assisting you may want to use one of our 3 unisex/family restrooms located throughout the terminal. Any terminal employee can help you find a unisex/family restroom.
Your airline can provide you with wheelchair service if you need assistance to or from your flight. Service should be requested from the airline in advance or at the ticket counter when you check in.
Disabled travelers traveling to and from the Grand Forks International Airport can call the provider below to arrange for wheelchair accessible transport.
Grand Forks Taxi – call 701-780-8890 or 701-775-TAXI.
GFK has a designated pet relief area located outside the terminal, not far from the front doors in the north ticketing lobby. That area is wheelchair accessible. Once through security, airline representatives will accommodate passengers who need to be escorted to the “airside” pet relief area.
AED devices are available in the terminal for use in cardiac emergencies. They are located in an area accessible by our 24-hour Operations Staff. Dial 9-911 from our Courtesy Phone and our Operations Staff will arrive within minutes.
There are 3 unisex/family restrooms for adults traveling with children. All airport bathrooms also are all equipped with baby-changing tables for parents who need to change a diaper. Liquid baby formula and breast milk are allowed through security as long as the parent bringing it is with a child. Declare baby food or formula at passenger screening.
