GFK is a TSA PreCheck Airport – both Allegiant Airlines and Delta are TSA PreCheck participants.
If for some reason TSA PreCheck is closed, PreCheck users will be given expedited screening.
Security and Passport information is provided by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and U.S. Department of State.
Many answers to your questions about the REAL ID Act can be found on the TSA website’s FAQ page. In addition, travelers are encouraged to check the REAL ID compliance status of their state on the DHS website and review TSA’s list of acceptable forms of identification. Travelers may also check with their state’s driver’s license agency about how to acquire the REAL ID compliant license.
Arrival at the Airport
To allow time for security checks, Delta passengers should arrive at our airport 75 minutes before their scheduled departure for a domestic flight. If you are traveling to an international destination, you should arrive 90 minutes prior to departure. The terminal building is open all 24 hours, and the airline ticket counter opens about 90 minutes before its first departure.
Allegiant Air recommends arriving at least 2 hours prior to scheduled departure. Customers need to be checked in no less than 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
The Transportation Security Administration has restrictions on what you are allowed to bring with you when you travel by air. See the TSA website to learn what those restrictions are and how to get through security checkpoints faster.
Airlines have different policies regarding baggage limits. Please use the links below for specific information.
